Diagnosis

We start with a deep-dive consultation where I learn everything about your product, your challenges, and what you've tried so far. Then we run a structured workshop to taste your current product, benchmark competitors, and define exactly what flavour profile we're aiming for.

Step 2

Flavour Sourcing & Trials

I source the right flavouring suppliers for your product base (whether it's plant-based, functional, or just challenging to work with). Then I get to work in my kitchen, running trials, testing combinations, and shortlisting the best options for you to taste.

This is where I really dig in. I'm not stopping at 5 samples. I'll do 50, 100, even 200 trials if that's what it takes to find the right direction.

Outcome: Shortlisted flavour options that actually fit your base and your brand.

Step 3

Custom Flavour Language Training

Before we taste together, I train you and your team in objective tasting language. No more "I like it" or "I don't like it", we're focusing on what's actually there: Is it balanced? Complex? Does it match your target consumers' expectations?

Outcome: Your team can make confident, analytical decisions (not emotional ones).

Step 4

Guided Tasting Rounds

We run 3 in-person tasting sessions where I walk you through each sample, help you articulate what you're tasting, and guide you to the right decision. Then I tweak the recipe based on your feedback, up to 2 rounds of amendments included.

Outcome: A validated kitchen sample that tastes incredible.

Step 5

Scale-Up & Industrialisation Support

Scaling up always changes things, sweetness, mouthfeel, flavour intensity. I stay with you through the first production run, do post-scale-up tastings (2 rounds included), and make final tweaks so your product tastes just as good at scale as it did in my kitchen. 

Outcome: A launch-ready product that performs in production and wins over consumers.
